Company Mission

SGM Bakery was started as one women passion for wholesome, delicious baking sweet treats

Rose loved to bake for her family and friends. The news spread and someone suggested that Rose opened her own bakery and with that SGM Bakery was born. She started her baking at home and moved to a small shop in town.

SGM Bakery is committed to sustainable farming and natural ingredient and sources all of its ingredient as local as possible.

History

SGM Has been flourishing in Tzaneen for over 20 years now founded by Rose Modupi in 2010. It has since passed down to her daughter Goodness Modupi in 2019 but she started running it in 2020. Goodness inherited the love of baking from her mom and is dedicated in baking just like her mother

Team

The baking team consists of Rose Modupi, Goodness Modupi and their two assistant bakers Carol and Portia. All cakes, cookies and treats are handmade and decorated by all our bakers no machines used. Rose handles marketing and orders and social media platforms. We do offer training to those who want to learn baking.
